A brand new luxury hotel, situated in the Rwandan capital, has today opened its doors to the public. Located in a country currently experiencing a travel and tourism boom, the Mythos Boutique Hotel stands apart.
HOW does it do this?
As much as we are taught not to “judge a book by its cover”, us humans can’t help but be attracted to pretty things – and the Mythos Boutique Hotel is simply a pleasure to behold. The sleek and sophisticated exterior perfectly matches an interior of modern contemporary design, compelling textures and elegant finishes. Touches of gold along with dramatic black features throughout the hotel gives one a feeling of extravagance, but there is also an earthiness which keeps guests connected to the magnificent rolling hills outside. The 80-seater rooftop restaurant, with its wooden construction, fine-dining style and glorious views of the city, is a treasure.
Upon visiting the Mythos Boutique Hotel – after having been taken aback by its good looks – you will be further entranced by the friendly welcomes and warm customer service. Proving that its beauty does indeed go beyond skin deep, the hotel comprises a staff which clearly and genuinely cares about its guests, and will make every effort to perfect their stay.
This twenty-four room establishment has further extended its attention to detail and comfort into each of its twelve Executive Suites and twelve Standard Rooms. It remains aligned with the tech-savvy nature of Rwanda by including top-of-the-line smart televisions, electronic “do not disturbs” and high speed wifi. Each immaculate room has air conditioning and a kitchenette; the in-room coffee station – with locally produced teas and coffee, and a beautiful French press – is a wonderful surprise.
For the corporate traveler there are conferencing facilities and meeting rooms. For leisure travelers there is a gorgeous garden with pool. The VIP lounge with its floor to ceiling glass walls will add an extra touch of “glam” to any special occasion or night out.
All in all, the Mythos Boutique Hotel reminds one of the Shakespearean phrase, “Though she be but little, she is fierce”. And now that those glass doors are finally open, we are positive that she will prove to be more than just a pretty face.
